MC|QQ: Burn Resuscitation Review

This course is a stress test for your trauma hypotension instincts. Not your ability to quote “ATLS,” but your ability to make the right move when the pressure is 78/42, the mechanism is ugly, and the monitor is screaming “do something.” You’ll learn to sort hemorrhagic shock from obstructive shock (tension PTX, tamponade), from neurogenic shock, from “it’s not shock—your cuff is lying.” Then we’ll lock in the high-yield treatment ladder: hemorrhage control first, blood early when indicated, fluids used deliberately (not emotionally), TXA when the clock makes it worth it, calcium support during transfusion, and pressors only when they’re a bridge—not a substitute for oxygen delivery. We’ll also cover the “we’re still losing” scenarios where adjuncts (steroids, methylene blue) enter the conversation.

Why should I take this course?

Bleed, Crash, Die

Think, Act, Save

Stop the Spiral

Outperform the Protocol

Trauma patients don’t give you time to warm up. This course teaches you how to recognize critical bleeding, make real-time resuscitation decisions, and stay one step ahead of the crash. If you wait, they die—simple as that.
Managing hypotension in trauma isn’t about guessing—it’s about pattern recognition and precision. You’ll sharpen your ability to assess, intervene, and reassess under pressure with scenarios that mirror the chaos you actually face.
Every trauma call has a point where things either stabilize—or unravel. This course teaches you how to control that tipping point with smarter use of fluids, blood, TXA, and airway management when seconds count.
Protocols are great until the patient doesn’t fit. This course is built for critical thinkers who want to go beyond checkbox care and master the nuance of trauma management under fire.
